  • A seller had an unknown lien against his house that was discovered a few days before the closing. The seller already had moved to California, so Alden worked closely with the title company to get the lien removed to achieve a timely closing.
  • Alden represented buyers that lived 300 miles away and the option period on the house they planned to buy was expiring at midnight. She received a call from the buyers at 10 p.m. They could not remember the look and details of the kitchen and there were no photos on the Internet. Alden went to the house with her camera phone, took the photos of the kitchen and had them to the buyers within the hour. They were able to make an informed decision and proceeded with the purchase.
